Kiawah Island Club
Members of the Kiawah Island Club have access to the Club’s private venues including The Beach Club, The River Course, Cassique, The Sports Pavilion, and Sasanqua spa.
With its Robert A.M. Stern shingle-style clubhouse, three swimming pools, and beach access, The Beach Club is the cornerstone of The Kiawah Island Club. Located along Kiawah’s most secluded stretch of shore, it places great emphasis on service, ensuring that members always enjoy a comfortable transition from beach to high caliber dining pool side or in Stern’s elegant creation.
The River Course and its clubhouse, another exclusive enclave for Kiawah Island Club Members, sits on an ancient bluff surrounded by huge live oaks, overlooking the Kiawah River to the north and Bass Pond to the southeast. Members enjoy a pro shop, dining, veranda, living room, men’s and women’s lounges, fitness center, and red clay tennis courts adjacent to the clubhouse.
Cassique lies amid rolling dunefields and Lowcountry marsh savannas. Its clubhouse, styled to capture the grace of a 19th-century English country manor, offers commanding views of the golf course and the tidelands surrounding the Kiawah River. The clubhouse’s pub and private restaurant, Voysey’s, features a menu designed by acclaimed Chef Tom Colicchio.
The Clodagh-designed Sasanqua Spa offers signature treatments and custom-made products that proudly incorporate indigenous Lowcountry ingredients. All treatments were designed for The Kiawah Island Club to benefit health, promote introspection, and encourage relaxation.
Club members also have access to the Sports Pavilion, a striking 9,000 square foot facility opened in 2007 with the latest cardio equipment in state-of-the-art weight rooms, plasma televisions, squash courts, a multipurpose room for group classes, a basketball court, four tennis courts, a swimming pool, whirlpool, and gazebo bar overlooking the pool and tennis courts.
