Cypress Point

Cypress Point is defined by its verdant setting and nature, whose bounty is evident at every turn, has first priority here. Grand trees create a canopy for the neighborhood, golf vistas overlook the fifth hole of the River Course, and lush lagoon views abound. Clear cutting was not an option for Cypress Point and streets were laid out around trees that were carefully groomed to maximize views. For added privacy, building envelopes were staggered to create the effect of homes tucked under the canopy. Under the guidance of the Kiawah Island Natural Habitat Conservancy, a vegetative understory will be planted to increase enhance animal habitats. And to ensure minimal waste, great care will be taken to recycle building materials.

The result of this responsible building is a collection of 23 built–for–sale homesites, each thoughtfully placed in a preserved naturescape. Three model designs—The Monterey, The Leyland, and The Vista—are available, For select homesites, the Private Collection offers six designs from which to choose.

Due to the remarkable response and enthusiasm surrounding the neighborhood, Kiawah Island Real Estate has already pre–sold three model homes as well as several pre–construction homesites. The remaining homesites will be available for purchase in the spring of 2010.
