Kathie Wood
A part of the team at Kiawah Island Real Estate since 1999, Kathie Wood first set foot on Kiawah in 1980 and fell in love with the quiet, undisturbed natural beauty of the Island. She returned to Kiawah every year thereafter, and in 1996 chose to make Kiawah Island her permanent home. Having lived in Pittsburgh, Pa. and Wellesley, Ma., Kathie found the southern way of life very inviting. The wonderful experience she had buying real estate on Kiawah made her want to be part of the KIRE team, a team which she describes as being exceptionally professional and service oriented. Of all the wonderful aspects of living on the Island, Kathie says, "My favorite part of living and working on Kiawah is that I get to spend my day with interesting people from all over the country who want Kiawah to be part of their life.
